Course Overview

Our Business and Management degree with an integrated foundation course will help you develop as a person and achieve your potential by teaching you about business and how it works. You’ll graduate with potential for employment in different businesses, which could be an organization, the private or public sector, a charity, or possibly your own business. We aim to give you the skills to apply your knowledge in various situations in any industry.

Entry requirements

To apply for this course, applicants will require the following:
  • UK Level 3 Academic qualification with a minimum of 60 Credits or
  • UK Level 2 Academic qualification with a minimum of 45 Credits or
  • Five GCSE passed at grade C/4 or above (including Math and English) or
  • EU/Overseas qualifications equivalent to UK level 3.

* Applicants aged 21 and above who may not meet the standard entry requirements could still be eligible for admission if they have at least three years of relevant work experience. This experience should showcase transferable skills and knowledge, including effective communication, efficient time management, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Applicant must meet the English Language requirements by taking or providing one of the following assessment tests.
  • English Language GCSE at grade C/4 or above
  • Level 2 Functional Skills English
  • IELTS 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 72 
  • Pearson PTE with a minimum score of 51 
  • Duolingo with a minimum score of 85 
  • Internal English Assessment 

Teaching and assessment

The assessment strategy aims to fulfill the learning outcomes by combining traditional assessment types with a variety of authentic assessments, which allow students to develop their skills progressively throughout the four years of the program.

Formative assessment and feedback are vital parts of the program’s strategy. They allow students to practice new tasks and receive regular feedback to give them guidance and confidence to perform well on their summative assessments. These could include presentations, work-related projects, group work, computer-based simulations, essays, videos, and business reports.
